Emsworthy Rocks - Dartmoor
Updated: Feb 15, 2019

25/06/2018 - Emsworthy Rocks are nearby to the very popular tourist attractions Haytor and Saddle Tor but you don't have to wander too far to avoid the crowds and find this magical cluster of rocks that overlook Houndtor to the North and Widecombe in the Moor to the West. It's a fantastic location to sit and watch the Sunset and I plan to hopefully this year, 2019, camp the night and have a couple of beers without the worry of driving back home.
For a short circular walk of approx. 4.7 Miles taking in Emsworthy Rocks start at Haytor for the easy parking, head West to Emsworthy, back up to Saddle Tor, cross the road and head up to Rippon Tor, East to Bag Tor and back to Haytor.
