Photography is my Passion

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

About Me

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site

Born 1969, originally from Catford South East London, I moved to Devon 15 years ago. I'm a passionate amateur photographer who loves exploring Dartmoor and the surrounding areas. I’ve always dabbled with photography from an early age but have only recently, the past 4 to 5 years, become focused, no pun intended, on capturing these wonderful moments in time.

I’m self-taught, I rarely follow the rule-book and find post-processing as much of an

enjoyment as taking pictures themselves. I'm not a purist, more an artistic photographer

and am always interested in how others choose to process and exhibit their photos.

I’m currently using a Sony A7R lll Digital Camera along with a 16-35mm f2.8GM,

24mm f1.4GM and 70-200mm F4. Some may think this worthless information but if like me

you’ve suffered G.A.S in the past (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) I know you'll want to know what

I shoot with.

My bad points as a photographer, I don’t like early mornings, I don’t like late nights, hate the cold, the wet, the wind, basically the worst type of photographer you can come across. Ok I may not be that bad, I’m exaggerating but it takes a bit of effort to get me out in these conditions but when do it’s always worth it.

Soon I’ll be exploring the Dorset Coastline, a place I adore having spent all my childhood holidaying there. Winspit, Chapmans Pool, Lulworth Cove, these locations are a lot more popular these days, which makes it hard to grab an uncluttered scene, but they’re still worth a visit and maybe it’ll encourage me to get up that little bit earlier to avoid the crowds 😁

I haven't watermarked my pictures for your viewing pleasure, it also doesn't deter plagiarism, it's far to easy to remove watermarks, but I do ask you not to use, sell or distribute my images without permission.  If you like any of them they can be purchased from my store, or if you prefer, you can contact me for a hi-resolution digital copy. If you appreciate what you've seen and you want to make a small donation you can do so by clicking the PayPal button below.
